6 FAULTS AND ALARMS
As indicated in the previous chapters, the system is provided with basic diagnostics which allow
immediate visualization of the operating conditions.
The Alarms icon turns red and the acoustic signal is activated (if enabled). In the UPS Status
page both the alarm code and a brief description are shown.
Injury hazard due to electric shock!
Before carrying out any operation on the UPS, make sure that all the safety
precautions are adhered to:
 Any work on the unit must be carried out by qualified personnel;
 Internal components can only be accessed after disconnecting the device from
supply sources;
 Always use protective devices designed for each type of activity;
 The instructions contained in the manuals must be strictly followed;
 In case of doubt or impossibility of solving the problem, please contact Legrand
immediately.
