6 - MAINTENANCE
• Remove the seeger ring (27) and the spacer (28)
• Pull out the rack pin (26) up to the point where the cutting blade (14) is free, according to the picture, in order to
make the re-assembling operations easier.
A
• Remove the locking nut (22), the washer (23) and the blade bushing (25).
• Unscrew the blade pin (29) and remove it.
• Remove the cutting blade (14) keeping the two washers (32).
WARNING!
Before assembling the cutting blade (14) again, please clean and grease the washers (32), the rack pin (26)
and the hole of the cutting blade (14) to be assembled.
• Replace the cutting blade (14). To re-assemble it, follow the above listed operations in reverse.
WARNING!
Before re-assembling the blade group, grease the mobile blade pin (29).
6.1.5 Shear cleaning
Clean the shear at least once a week carrying out the operations:
• Remove the front cover for the blade replacement
•
Remove any dirt by means of a brush and a cloth. Do not use any liquid for the cleaning operations.
•
Lubricate the moving parts by means of spray grease
•
Reassemble the front cover
The wood shavings of the cutting get mixed with the lubricant in the tool and create a sort of abrasive paste which
decreases the life span of the parts subject to wear-and-tear.
6.1.6 Tool storing and battery maintenance
Before storing the tool for a period of time it is necessary to:
• Perform a complete battery set (1) re-charge cycle.
• Every 120 days effect a complete battery set (1) re-charge cycle.
• During the storing period, do not leave the shear in the rain and keep it a dry place in its box.

Do not disassembled the seeger ring, indicated with A in the picture. It is not
necessary to remove the blade.
