Additional accessory required:
• 2009 and newer full size Ranger models require part 2879148 Hawse Fairlead and 2879187 Winch Rope.
• 2012 and newer Ranger 900 models require part 2879141 Premium Winch or the addition of the 2879148 Hawse
Fairlead and 2879187 Winch Rope.
Not using the proper winch or winch accessory will lead to premature failure of winch cable.
Before you begin, read these instructions and check to be sure all parts and tools are accounted for. Please retain these
installation instructions for future reference and parts ordering information.
Tools Required:
17 mm and 19 mm Open-end Wrench and Socket, Long Nose Pliers
IMPORTANT: Your Polaris accessory is exclusively designed for your vehicle. Please read the installation
instructions thoroughly before beginning. Installation of any item is easier if the vehicle is clean and free of debris.
