a suitable suspension device.
– Briefly push the utility hook (13) towards the handle (11)
to release the locking mechanism. The utility hook will ex-
tend backwards by itself.
– Turn the utility hook to the side.

Attaching the Fall Protection System (see figure P)
Note: A fall protection system (40) that is suitable for the
weight of the entire system should be used to prevent the
power tool from falling. The maximum permitted length of
the fall protection system is 1.8 m. Please always refer to the
permitted attachment area (39) on the power tool.
It is best to use the fall protection system with a tape loop se-
cured by an anchor knot or a fall protection system with fall
damper.
Please always refer to the operating instructions when at-
taching the fall protection system (40).
Always secure the opposite side of the fall protection
u
system to a stable structure (e.g. a building or scaf-
folding) and never to the user.
The fall protection system must be able to move freely
and may only be attached to the power tool at the
fixed anchorage point (41) and in the permitted at-
tachment area (39) .
Select the fixed anchorage point (41) such that the
power tool can fall freely into the fall protection sys-
tem without wrapping around or putting the user at
risk of harm in the event of a fall.
Never use the utility hook (13) as a fall protection sys-
