When changing between going forward and reverse, the throttle has to be briefly (approx. 1 second) in the centre
position (centre position = motor not moving).
When the throttle is directly pushed from forward to reverse, the brake function of the drive is activated (vehicle will
NOT reverse).
For example:
1. Release gas lever, vehicle will roll to a halt (or doesn't move)
2. Drive forwards, slowly pull the throttle towards the handle
3. Going forward and then braking (vehicle decelerates; does not roll slowly to a halt); slide throttle rapidly away from
the handle
4. Going forward and then going in reverse (wait briefly between changes, approx. 1 second)
