Place the collar at the centre of the dog's neck.
The strap is properly adjusted when you can insert two fingers between the strap and your
dog's neck.
Choice of contact points
Two different series of contact points are supplied. The length of the contact points must be
sufficient to have proper contact with the dog's skin, enabling the device to operate correctly.
If you have a long-haired dog and the short contact points fitted to the collar in the factory
are inadequate, remove and replace them with the long ones supplied in the kit. A moderate
manual screwing is sufficient (do not use any key).
Operation
At the first bark, a series of six sound beeps is emitted. If another bark is detected within 30 sec,
another sound beep of 2 sec is emitted together with a stimulation (short or long as selected)
(Fig. 2). Inhibition of any further stimulations is dependant on the absence of any barking
within the next 30 seconds. The stimulation function can be inhibited using the stimulations
switch placed under the setting mask n° 1 (Fig. 2). In this case, only the beep sound will be
emitted. The barking detection sensitivity setting is a very important preliminary operation
(Fig. 2). In fact this setting determines the correct operation of the product. It provides sure
detection of any barking and helps avoid unnecessary detection. The setting must therefore
be sufficiently sensitive but not too much.

Checking the device operates correctly

Before doing so, make sure the collar is turned Off. Fix each wire of the neon test lamp under
each contact point (unscrewing them lightly and then retightening them so as to pinch the
test lamp wires). Position the stimulations switch on short or long stimulation then switch On the
collar. Make a streaked object slide over the bark detection contact point (e.g. sleeve isolated
knife with teeth). The test lamp must light indicating the collar is operating correctly.

Checking / replacing battery

Should the level of the battery come down, the collar emits a continuous beep. Turn the On/Off
switch to Off. Open the box by removing the screw on the cover, opposite the contact points.
Remove the used battery and insert the new one (lithium 3 V CR 123 A) paying attention to
follow polarity indicated on the battery housing.
Put the cover back on the box. Turn the switch On and after a few seconds, a beep sound of
1 second will be emitted, indicating that the collar is correctly initialised.
