LOCKING / UNLOCKING LEVER
The locking / unlocking lever, also known as the "safety lever", must be activated in order for the engine to start and
operate. When the bar is released, the engine stops automatically, it is a safety feature to help ensure that the machine
operator is behind it while the engine is running.
STOPPING THE ENGINE
Release the locking/unlocking lever.
ADJUSTMENTS
ADJUSTING THE HANDLE
The handlebar must be adjusted to the height of the work to be carried
out. Loosen the locking levers, adjust the handlebar to the required height
and then re-adjust the levers to close them, making sure that the toothed
wheels of the locking system are properly seated between them.
ATTENTION: For more safety, the height adjustment of
the handlebar is limited by a locking system. Do not
attempt to adjust the handlebar to a height where the
toothed wheels are not engaged with each other.
ADJUSTING CUTTING HEIGHT
This mechanism raises/lowers the mower deck and has several steps. When setting cutting height, keep in mind that
weeds can spread more easily in very short grass. If the grass is long, it may be necessary to cut it in several passes,
lowering the cutting height little by little. To set the cutting height:
1.
Pull the height adjustment lever outward so that it disengages with the teeth.
2.
Move the lever forward to raise, or backward to lower the cutting height.
3.
Release it at the desired height.
