9. Follow Me Home Mode

While the Dashcam waits for the vehicle battery to stabilize before
entering Parking Mode, the camera continues recording for up
to 2 minutes and 45 seconds after switching off the vehicle. This
provides a level of Follow Me Home protection allowing you to
capture anything happening in front of your vehicle. Should
anything happen in this time, the footage may be found as the
most recent file in the Normal Files loop folder.
NOTE
• The Normal Files is the most quickly overwritten portion
of the Dashcam's memory, so if the files are required it is
important to retrieve them quickly via the Smartphone App or
Personal Computer. Ensure the camera is off when removing
SD card, and refer to detailed instructions in sections 1 & 2.

10. Backup Power

The Dashcam contains internal capacitors for continued
saving recording file in the SD card in cases of battery power
disconnection or ACC off. Internal backup power enables
recording of video for approximately 5 seconds after power loss;
however this time is not guaranteed. Available time may be shorter
in conditions such as low temperatures or immediately after
camera starts up.
NOTE
• Never take the microSD card out of the slot while the
Dashcam is writing data to the microSD card (the green LED
from the power button is on or blinking). Otherwise it may
corrupt the current file, damage not only the microSD card
but also the Dashcam itself.
• Quickly and repeatedly turning the Dashcam on and off
generates many short videos and the total amount of
recording time is decreased.

11. Playing Back Recorded Videos

Play back the video recorded by this Dashcam with the viewer
software for Apple and Windows computers or the viewer
application for smartphones (Android/iPhone).

12. Adjusting and Reviewing Device Settings

Adjust and review the settings of your camera using the Toyota
Integrated Dashcam application for smartphones (Android /
iPhone).
