Factory Default Settings
The dip switch, jumper, and slide switch on the LIM are factory-set as shown in table 3.
For LIMs used in Canada (catalog no. MLIM), alarm level must be set to 2 mA to meet CSA
certification.

Normal Operation of Front Panel
The LIM front panel (operator interface board) was designed for maximum ease of use.
Figure 3 on page 7 shows the LIM front panel. The following paragraphs describe
normal operation of the LIM front panel.
Normal Start-Up Sequence
The normal start-up sequence is as follows:
1.
The Total Hazard Current display counts down: HI, 99, 88, ..., 11, 00.
2.
The Analog Bar Graph rapidly increases from no bars illuminated, to all bars illu-
minated. The red bars blink approximately every second.
3.
The Safe LED is illuminated.
4.
The Hazard LED is illuminated.
5.
Total Hazard Current displays "CL."
6.
Total Hazard Current displays "CH."
7.
Total Hazard Current displays the actual predicted hazard current. Start-up
sequence is complete.
