Alarm Silence LED. This yellow LED illuminates during an alarm condition when the
audible alarm within the LIM is turned off.
Hazard LED. If measured hazard current equals or exceeds the selected alarm level, the
red Hazard LED flashes at a constant rate.
Safe LED. If measured hazard current is less than the selected alarm level, the green
Safe LED illuminates.
Alarm Silence Button. During an alarm condition, push the Alarm Silence button to
silence the internal audible alarm.
Test Button. The Test button starts the following sequence:
1.
Sounds the audible alarm.
2.
Illuminates the analog bar graph.
3.
Illuminates all indicating LEDs (Hazard, Safe, and Alarm silence).
4.
Illuminates the Total Hazard Current digital display.
5.
Self-calibrates and checks LIM calibration, using internal faults.
Infrared Optical Communication Port. This port allows the LIM to communicate to a
palmtop (HP 100LX) computer via an infrared LED. A Hewlett Packard proprietary
protocol and Federal Pioneer software are used for communication.
