Section 5—Operation
LIM Settings
This section explains the procedures to set the dip switches, jumper, and slide switch
required for setup of the LIM. Refer to figure 4 for all settings.

Dip Switch Settings
The dip switch is located on the top center of the top circuit board of the LIM. The dip
switch controls the following settings for the LIM:
• Internal audible alarm setting
• Alarm trip level
• Internal audible alarm function
• Phase setting of the LIM
To change the dip switch setting, use a pointed instrument such as a pen to move the
switches to the left or right. Table 2 describes the individual dip switch settings (1–5).
