Setting Description
3
Sets the test signal frequency on which a
LIM will operate. Two LIMs can be attached
to the secondary of the transformer and can
be designated as A and B. If two LIMs are
attached to the same transformer, always
select a different frequency for each LIM.
Neither LIM will function properly if both are
set to the same test signal frequency.
E
4
Turns the internal audible alarm ON or OFF.
N
OFF setting disables the alarm.
G
5
Sets whether the LIM will monitor a single-

Jumper Settings
The jumper is located at the top left, on the bottom circuit board of the LIM. The jumper
connects two pins that select the output voltage to the remote alarms.
To change the jumper setting, use needle nose pliers to pull the jumper straight out.
Move it to the appropriate position and push it into place. Do not lose the jumper.
Input voltage to the LIM determines the jumper setting, as follows:
• 120V or 240V nominal, select HI LINE (top)
• 100V or 208V nominal, select LO LINE (bottom)
Slide Switch Settings
HAZARD OF OVERVOLTAGE.
Do not connect the LIM to a supply voltage greater than 132 Vac, when the slide
switch is set at 120 Vac.
Failure to observe this precaution will result in death, severe personal injury, or
equipment damage.
The slide switch is located below the jumper. Move the slide switch right or left to select
the nominal voltage at which the LIM will operate. The slide switch is shipped in the
240V position.
Slide switch settings:
• Left: 120V nominal for voltages ranging from 100V to 130V
• Right: 240V nominal for voltages ranging from 200V to 265V
