Getting ready for operation
Caution!
Do not operate a damaged machine!
Perform a visual check before using.
The camera symbol on the following pages
reference the illustrations on pages 2-3.
„ Read the operating instructions before using
the engine.
„ Start and run the engine in an open space.
„ Start the engine only on a level surface.
„ Check the oil level.
„ Check the petrol level.
„ Tie up long hair and remove make-up.
„ Do not wear loose clothing.
„ Wear sturdy, non-slip footwear.
„ Do not operate the engine on an incline of over 15°.
Charging the starter battery (620E) (12V)
Caution!
▪ Charge the starter battery in a dry,
well-ventilated space.
▪ Never completely discharge the battery.
▪ Use a suitable charger (max. 14.4 VDC,
1200 mA)
▪ Do not start the machine while charging.
1. Connect the charger to the battery:

Starting the engine
Danger - risk of poisoning!
Never leave the engine running in an enclosed
space.
„ Keep hands and feet away from rotating parts.
„ Keep flammable objects away from the exhaust
and cylinders.
„ Allow the exhaust, cylinders and cooling fins to cool
before touching.
