Joining the leaf collector to the MT Tumbler 500
The leaf collector selected has its own manual. Review the manual for the assem-
bly instructions.
To connect the aspirator to the MT Tumbler 500, place the aspiration tube in the
machine, as shown in the illustration, and secure it with the help of the xing
clamps.
Checks to be carried out before connecting
+
Make sure that the top protector and the side protector are properly closed.
+
Check that the suction tube is correctly positioned and xed.
+
Make sure that the barrel is correctly positioned and the blades are properly adjusted.
+
Check that the "Emergency stop" is in the correct position.
Connecting the Tumbler
Once you have read and understood this use and maintenance manual, and carried out all the necessary steps, you can connect
the MT Tumbler 500 machine to the power supply and press the ON button to turn it on.
Condition of the raw material
The condition of the raw material to be processed is very important. The MT Tumbler 500 have been designed to handle most varie-
ties and are capable of processing large amounts. Even so, attention must be paid to the use of the machines and the conditions of
the raw materials.
The MT Tumbler 500 has been designed to work with wet or dry owers (11-13% moisture content). If you want to trim dry owers,
you must t a speci c barrel. Contact our commercial department if you want to trim dry.
Preparation of the raw material
It is very important to separate the owers from the branches. If you want to trim fresh, remove the largest leaves before introdu-
cing the branches into the MT Tumbler 500. Work can be streamlined and optimized with the help of the MT Standard. Ask the
commercial department of Master Products for more information.
Large leaves accumulate dirt in the MT Tumbler 500, reducing the performance and quality of the cutting. Removing excess mate-
rial helps to achieve a quality nal product and increase productivity.
When trimming dry plants, leaves tend to wrap the ower, reducing the chances that the leaves will be cut by the blade. It's very
important to always use the trimmer within the recommended humidity range (11-13%) to achieve a quality nal product and high
production yield
How to use the machine
Take the following aspects into account before use:
+
Inclination
+
Loading speed
+
The time that the ower will remain in the barrel
+
Aspiration
Master Products recommends placing the MT Tumbler on a at, smooth surface. With a loading time of about one handful of
owers every 30 seconds* and a barrel time of 30-45 seconds. When a new handful of owers is inserted, they will force the
release of the already processed owers inside the barrel. If the owers do not pass properly through the machine, open the
cover to reduce the suction power and/or tilt the machine gently to facilitate the output of the owers.
The loading rate will vary depending on the conditions of your material, machine condition, cutting adjustment and aspirator maintenance/status..
