SIDE RAIL FITTING CONDITIONS (welded or bolted on)
Welding possible per manufacturer's bodywork fitting instructions and for applications covered by European Regulation
EU 2015/208; plates may be installed on the side rails or chassis via welding (by a qualified operator).
Welded fitting:
-For a side mounting, 2 vertical beads, length of 150mm min., and 2 horizontal beads, 180 mm min., with transverse weld
section of 5mm min.
-For mounting beneath chassis 1 edge bead with a transverse weld section of 5mm min.
Bolted fitting:
All the holes must be used (Fig. 3a and 3b).
Use M16 class bolts 8.8 min.: (bolt kit product ref. 2944215 not supplied for product ref. 2909400 and 2909401).
Tightening torque: C = 210 Nm ± 10%
