9.4 Locking the Keyboard

After the instrument calibration and the setting of the measuring device, you can deactivate
the functions keys, this protects the operator against faulty input and faulty measuring
results. Only the key

active, allowing measurements.
To deactivate the keyboard, switch off the instrument after setting the measuring device,
switch the selector 4 to ON, power on again the instrument. The lock sign appears on the
display, the keyboard is deactivated.
To animate the keyboard again, practice as before but switch the selector 4 to OFF.

9.5 Resolution of numerical display

The maximum resolution of the instrument is DP
For measurements not requiring this resolution the resolution
DP = 1 µm / 50 µin is proposed.
