The camera is equipped with a function to obtain a
wide dynamic range (WDR). The camera takes
more pictures per second than the video signal re-
quires. From two pictures with different shutter times
(adapted each to the brighter and darker picture
sections), the signal processor will calculate a pic-
ture where the whites are not overmodulated and
the darker sections still show sufficient contrast.
In the ALC mode, several operating modes can be
adjusted:
1. The function WDR for maximum dynamic range
