Positions of bottom vent
Right Slide adjustment
Reaching the Maximum Temperature
1. Start the charcoal, fully open the lid and the bottom vent.
2. Wait for 20 mins.
3. Close the lid and move the top vent to position 5.
4. Wait for few minutes and check the temperature.
5. Change the positions of top and bottom vents to increase or decrease the temperature.
Setting Low Temperatures
1. Start the charcoal, close the lid and fully open the top and bottom vents.
2. Wait till the temperature gets within 20 degrees of your desired temperature.
3. Close the bottom vent to position 1 and set the top vent to position 1.
4. Wait for few minutes and check the temperature.
5. Change the top vent positions to stabilize and achieve the desired temperature.
If the temperature is too high close the top vent to reduce the temperature, however if the
temperature is below th desired temperature try changing the position of top vent.
