Operating Elements in the Cab

Cab windows
In the „Advanced" mode the symbols for requesting
a maintenance facility (BW) appear here at irregular
intervals.

Controllable functions on the locomotive

Pantograph up / down
This switch simulates the raising and lowering of the
pantograph; the locomotive is thereby ready to run.

Return; leave the cab window

Main switch for the locomotive
This switch is used to turn the locomotive on. The
displays then show the current operating situation. This
switch has no effect on the sound function.

direction reversal
Setting the direction. The direction can only be changed
at speed level 0.

Brake lever
The locomotive is slowed and brought to a stop accor-
ding to the setting for the brake lever by activating the
brakes (Acceleration/braking delay is not in effect here).
Activation can be done with the left control knob (adju-
stable) or by means of the screen.
10 Speed level lever
Switching the speed levels to run the locomotive:
The speed level can be activated with the right control
knob (adjustable) on the Central Station or by means of
the screen.
11 SIFA
The safety running circuit („Sicherheitsfahrschaltung"
/ SIFA) must be activated at regular intervals as in the
prototype in order to show that the locomotive engineer
is present.
The SIFA functionality can be turned off or on again by
pressing a long time on the SIFA button.
