• Release the lock button to lock the work head in place.
• The work head can be locked in seven positions: -45°, -22.5°, 0°, 22.5°, 45°, 67.5° and 90°.
Extending and retracting the pole (Fig. 11)
• Release the clamping lever to adjust the pole to the desired handle length.
• Securely fix the pole length by locking the clamping lever.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
WARNING!
Before any intervention on product, ensure that power is set to the "OFF" position
and remove the battery pack.
Reminder: In order to maintain the machine in good working condition, carry out regular
maintenance of the machine after each use and before storage. Any breach or inadequate maintenance
reduces the life of the machine and increases the risk of breakdowns and accidents.
6.1- Cleaning
• Clean the machaine surface with a stiff brush or a dry clean cloth. Do not use water or
detergent for cleaning.
• Never immerse the machine in water or any liquids.
6.2- Maintenance
Guide bar (Fig. 12)
• Remove the guide bar (12) from the chainsaw, clean any debris or dust from the surface and
the groove.
• Remove any burrs from sides of guide bar with a flat file and clean the groove with a putty
knife, see Fig. 12a.
• Replace the guide bar if:
-
it is damaged and bent, cracked, deformed.
-
the groove is worn (pinched or splayed).
