5.2- Operation
Before start cutting
• Make sure the trigger lock works properly.
• Make sure the tool is filled with sufficient lubricant oil in the oil reservoir.
• Make sure the guide bar is not damaged, deformed or badly worn. Refer to Section 6.2 for
details.
• Make sure the saw chain is sharpened and properly installed with proper tension.
• Make sure battery pack is sufficiently charged and properly installed.
Holding and controlling the mini chainsaw (Fig. 8)
• Hold and control the power tool with right hand on the
grip area A of the handle (4).
• Hold and control the chainsaw with left hand on the grip
surface B on top of the tool.
Cutting (Fig. 9)
• Start the cut with the chain running at full speed.
• Engage the cut with holding the tool firmly in place to avoid possible bouncing or skating, see
Fig. 9.
• Do not force the chainsaw, or the motor will be overloaded.
• Continue the cut until complete guide bar is through the branch.
• CAUTION! Cut one branch at a time.
• WARNING! Beware of kickback.
After use
• Remove the battery pack from the tool.
• Clean the tool surface, battery pack, guide bar and chain.
• Fit the scabbard to protect the tool.
5.3- Operation with using Ribimex telescopic pole (PRBAT20/EST, not included)
Adjusting swivel angle (Fig. 10)
• Hold the pole with one hand securely and press the lock button, then adjust the swivel angle of
the work head with another hand.
