Function
Roller Test Stand for Testing or Presenting Operation
or Sound Functions for H0 Locomotives and Powered
Rail Cars.
• Suitable for two-rail locomotives (Trix H0).
• Suitable for a power supply with direct current
(max. 14 volts) or a multiple train control system
(example: Trix Systems, Trix Selectrix).
• Delivered from the factory with 4 pairs of roller
brackets for locomotives or powered rail cars with
up to 4 powered axles. The number and position of
the pairs of roller brackets is variable.
• Can be expanded with the 78110 pair of roller
brackets (Märklin) for models with more than 4
powered axles.
• Also included, 2 sections of track for non-powered
axles on the model (tender of a steam locomotive,
pilot truck, trailing truck, etc.). The longer section
of track (on the end with the connection sockets)
is connected to train control current and must
therefore remain connected to the roller test stand.
The shorter section of track at the other end can be
removed and replaced with or have additional pairs
of roller brackets (Märklin 78110) added to it.

• A 78111 display device (Märklin) can be added to
this roller test stand to provide different speed and
time measurements. Another pair of roller brackets
with a sensor for measuring speed is included with
item no. 78111.
• Length of the roller test stand: 400 mm / 15-3/4".
Maximum usable length: 350 mm / 13-3/4".
Important: In principle, the metal housing parts
including the pair of roller brackets have the electrical
potential of the track voltage. You should therefore
always turn the power supply off first (track voltage at
"0") before you touch these parts.
