TRIMMER
TR1-PAUSE:
adjusts the pause time of the gate before it closes in automatic, superautomatic and automatic for apartment block
logic systems.
TR2-THRUST:
adjusts the motor torque. For motors with hydraulic or mechanical clutch, the trimmer must be set to MAXIMUM.
TR3-BRAKE:
adjusts the braking intensity of the motor during stopping phases.
To disable motor braking, set the trimmer to MINIMUM.
TR4-V.RALL.:
adjusts the deceleration speed.
To disable deceleration, set the trimmer to MAXIMUM.
TR5-SENS.:
adjusts sensitivity to obstacles.
To disable the anti-crush function, set the trimmer to MAXIMUM.

RADIO CONTROLS LEARNING
The EC 40 system is equipped with a built-in encoder, capable of storing up to 128 rolling code radio controls or 128 fixed code radio
controls. The first radio control learnt by a new system, or after all previously learnt radio controls have been deleted, sets the radio
control type (rolling code or fixed code).
Radio control memorisation (START function)
While the gate is closed, press and hold pushbutton P2 until the PROG LED begins to flash. Release pushbutton P2. Within 10 seconds,
activate the radio control key to be learnt and associated with the START command. Learning procedure completion will be signalled
by the simultaneous flashing of the PROG LED and the AUX indicator light, until the radio control key is released.
Repeat the process for each remote control to be memorised.
While the gate is closed, press and hold pushbutton P2 until the PROG LED begins to flash; keep holding the pushbutton down and
wait for the flashing to become faster. Release pushbutton P2.
Within 10 seconds, activate the radio control key to be learnt and associated with the 2CAN output (if dip 3 = OFF) or with the pede-
strian opening command (if dip 3 = ON). Learning procedure completion will be signalled by the simultaneous flashing of the PROG LED
and the AUX indicator light; the LED will then stop flashing.
Repeat the process for each remote control to be memorised.
Deleting all learned radio controls
While the gate is closed, press and hold pushbutton P2 until the PROG LED begins to flash; keep holding the pushbutton down and
wait for the flashing to become faster; keep holding the pushbutton down and wait for the flashing to become extremely fast; do not
release the pushbutton. The successful deletion of ALL radio controls learnt previously will be signalled by the simultaneous flashing
of the PROG LED and the AUX indicator light; the PROG LED will then stop flashing.
PHOTOCELL TEST
To enable the photocell test function, power up the transmitter through the 2CAN output (see diagram), set dip 3 to ON and dip 8 to
ON. This way the photocell test will be performed at the end of each opening manoeuvre.
If the test is failed, the next closing manoeuvre will NOT be performed and two warning flashes will be emitted by the PROG-DL8 LED
and the AUX output.
