MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before cleaning or maintenance, switch off and unplug
the hood.
Daily cleaning
To clean, use a soft cloth dipped in slightly soapy
lukewarm water or mixed with a cleaning product. Do not
use metal scouring pads, abrasive chemicals or brushes
with hard bristles.
Monthly cleaning of the grease filter
IMPORTANT: cleaning the filter once a month will reduce
fire risk.
Fats and dust trapped in the filter directly affect the
efficiency of the hood. It is therefore important to clean it
regularly with a household appliance cleaner, because
the accumulated fat residues are potentially flammable.
Annual replacement of activated carbon filter
This filter for trapping odours can be installed on air re-
circulation type hoods (i.e., with no external air vent.). It
must be changed at least once a year, depending on how
frequently the hood is used.
