• On = WC calls and WC emergency calls can be cancelled with a grey WC cancel button
or by switching off the presence at the ComTerminal.
NOTICE
According to the German standard DIN VDE 0834, the On setting is permitted
if the call location can be seen from the ComTerminal, e.g. in a ward bathroom
without cubicles.
Alarm Key
NOTICE
The alarm button on the ComTerminal is only active when Presence is switch-
ed on.
• Press briefly = A cardiac alarm is triggered by briefly pressing the blue alarm key (=
factory setting).
• Press 2 s = A cardiac alarm is triggered when the blue alarm key has been pressed
and held for 2 seconds. This setting deviates from the requirements of the German
standard DIN VDE 0834.
• Press 3 s = A cardiac alarm is triggered when the blue alarm key has been pressed
and held for 3 seconds. This setting deviates from the requirements of the German
standard DIN VDE 0834.
• Off = The blue alarm key on the ComTerminal is disabled. No cardiac alarm can be
triggered on the ComTerminal.
WARNING
It is not permitted to switch off the function of the alarm key of the ComTer-
minal-F 77 0530 00, because it is not visible to the user that the alarm key has
no function.
Presence key 1
Green presence key on ComTerminal for staff 1:
• On = Key is enabled (= factory setting).
• Off = Key is without function, although the key is visible on the ComTerminal. Presence
1 cannot be switched on the ComTerminal. To comply with the German standard
DIN VDE 0834, a separate presence switch must be installed instead and be easily
accessible.
Presence key 2
Yellow presence key on ComTerminal for staff 2:
• On = Key is enabled (= factory setting).
• Off = Key is without function, although the key is visible on the ComTerminal. Presence
2 cannot be switched on the ComTerminal.
