6. Configuration
The ComTerminal must be configured as described below.
6.1. Opening/closing the configuration menu
6.1.1. How to open the configuration menu
• Press the left and right function keys (→ fig. A, [b]) simultaneously (3 sec.) until the
configuration menu is displayed.
6.1.2. How to close the configuration menu
• Press the home key repeatedly until the normal operating display is shown, see Sec-
tion 6.2: "Symbols in the configuration menu" (page 18).
NOTICE! If no function key is pressed for three minutes, the configuration menu is closed
automatically.

Setting display language of this device.
Setting room type, e.g. Patient room.
Checking whether the set RAN number equals the number of
operational room devices.
Test if room devices are ready to operate.
Setting of room address on OSYnet group bus.
Setting the time (in seconds) it will take to wipe the front of
the ComTerminal.
Setting of display contrast.
Switching the key sound of this device on or off. "Key sound
ON" is recommended.
Displaying the firmware revision of this device.
