Installation of the energizer
Before you start the installation of the energizer it is important that the installation
instructions are studied carefully. A correct installation is essential if you want an op-
timal functionality of the energizer.
This energizer works between 6-12Vdc. Therefore any 9 or 12 Volt battery can be used.
Quick installation guide
1.
Unpack your energizer
Click off the battery cover by pushing the 2 "push" marks on the sides of the cover

Mount 9 V battery or connect the 12 V/230 V adaptor (not included)
4.
Click on the battery cover again to protect battery
5.
Assemble the 2-part earth stake together and press it into the ground

Place the energizer on the earth stake

Connect the wire from the earth terminal (

Connect the wire from the fence terminal (
9.
Turn on the on/off switch (you can see the red mark on the switch)
10. Check that the battery indicator flashes once per second
11. Check that the fence indicator flashes once per second
Installation of the 9 V battery
Check that the on/off switch is turned off
PB160 – Connect the red wire from the battery to (+ max) and the black wire to (-).
PB300 – You can choose between two outputs:
full power: (+max)
half power: (+min)
In half power mode the battery will last considerably longer, but with only half the power.
Connect the red wire from the battery to either (+max) or (+min) and the black wire to (-).
Installation of the 12 V/230 V adaptor (not included)
It is also possible to connect PB160 and PB300 to the mains via a 12 Vdc/230 Vac adaptor (not
included). Extra accessories can be purchased at the same store where you have bought your
energizer.
ATTENTION!
It is prohibited to connect both a battery and 12 V/230 V adaptor to the energizer at
the same time. This will cause that the energizer will break down.
