6. Wechsel der Farbnadeldichtung (luft-
seitig)
a) Pistolenkopf durch Entfernen
Zylinderschrauben (Bestell-Nr. 74690) mit 6-kant
Schraubendreher SW4 demontieren.
b) Dichtungshalter kpl. (Bestell-Nr. 64701) mit
Schraubendreher aus dem
(Pistolenkörper) herausschrauben.
Dichtungshalter mit Loctite 222 gesichert ein-
bauen.
c) Pistolenkopf wieder montieren, die 4 Zylinder-
schrauben gleichmäßig über Kreuz anziehen.
Beachten: Immer Farbnadel auf Beschädigungen
und Verschleiß prüfen und ggf. durch neue
ersetzen.
7. Wechsel der Manschette
Steuerkolbens (Bestell-Nr.64865) und/oder
der Dichtung (Bestell-Nr. 1594) sowie des
O-Ringes (Bestell-Nr. 70789)
a) Vorgehen wie unter Pkt. 4 a) bis 4 b)
b) Steuerkolben mit Flachzange am Sechskant
unter leichter Drehung am Pistolenkörper her-
ausziehen.
c) Steuerkolben an SW 12 festhalten und die
Hohlschraube (Bestell-Nr.
Universalschlüssel SW 14 entfernen.
Nun können Manschette (Bestell-Nr. 64709)
und/oder Dichtung (Bestell-Nr. 1594) getauscht
werden.
Beachten: Niemals am langen Durchmesser 10
mm einspannen.
d) Steuerkolben an Schlüsselweite 12 festhalten
und mit Innensechskantschlüssel SW4 Innen-
sechskantschraube (Bestell-Nr. 73783) mit O-
Ring (Bestell-Nr. 70789) herausschrauben. O-
Ring ersetzen, fest anziehen.
8. Wechsel der Kolbendichtung
Dichtungshalter
a) Vorgehen wie unter Punkt 7 a) und 7 b)
b) Dichtungshalter, kpl. (Bestell-Nr. 64857) mit-
tels Steckschlüssel SW 19 herausschrauben
und alle Teile in umgekehrter Reihenfolge wie-
der montieren, dabei Gewinde mit Loctite 222
sichern. Beim Einbau des kpl. Steuerkolbens
die Gleitfläche im Pistolenkörper mit säurefreiem
Spezial-Pistolenfett (Bestell-Nr. 48173) leicht ein-
reiben.
9. Wechsel der Rund-/Breitstrahlregulierung
Senkschraube (Bestell-Nr. 1503) mit Kreuzschlitz-
Schraubendreher entfernen und
(Bestell-Nr. 3657) abziehen. Spindel, kpl. (Bestell-Nr.
54221) mit Universalschlüssel herausschrauben und
durch neues Teil ersetzen.
10. Reinigung und Wartung
1. Lackierpistole im drucklosen Zustand von
Halterung abbauen und Anschlüsse entfernen.
2. Lackierpistole materialseitig durchspülen.
3. Lackierpistole äußerlich mit Pinsel und geeigne-
tem Lösemittel reinigen, nicht längere Zeit kom-
plett in Lösemittel einlegen. Es sind zwar alle Teile
des Gerätes lösemittelbeständig (PTFE - Teflon),
jedoch durch Einlagerung in Lösemittel kann die-
ses auch in die Luftkanäle und den Druckraum
des Steuerkolbens eindringen und dann bei
Wiederinbetriebnahme zu Funktionsfehlern füh-
ren.
4. Verunreinigte Bohrungen der Luftkappe keines-
falls mit unsachgemäßen Gegenständen reini-
gen, die geringste Beschädigung beeinflußt das
Spritzbild. SATA-Düsenreinigungsnadeln (64030)
verwenden!
5. Sollte eine Generalreinigung der äußeren und
inneren Teile der SATAjet 3000 HVLP erforderlich
werden, ist diese gemäß Punkt „Demontage u.
Ersetzen von Teilen" durchzuführen.
Hinweis: Wir empfehlen die Bevorratung von
SATA Reparatur-Set (Bestell-Nr. 67082)
Ferner empfehlen wir nach der Reinigung das
SATA-Pistolenfett (Bestell-Nr. 48173) einzuset-
zen.
6. Schwarzer Luftverteilerring 97824 im Pistolen-
kopf nur bei Beschädigung (keine Abdichtung
mehr zur Farbdüse) ausbauen. Bei Ausbau
muss immer ein neuer Luftverteilerring zur
Funktionssicherstellung eingebaut werden.

6. Changing paint needle gasket (air end)
der 4 a) Disassemble the spray gun head by removing the
4 allen head screws (order no. 74690) using a 4
mm allen head screwdriver.
b) Unscrew the complete seal retainer (64071) with
Steuerblock a screw driver out of the gun body. Reassemble a
Neuen new seal retainer, fix it with the special glue Loctite
222.
c) Reassemble the head of the gun. Tighten the 4
allen head screws equally crosswisely.
Warning: Always examine the paint needle for
damage and wear and tear. Replace if necessa-
ry.
des 7. Changing the sleeve of the control piston
(order no. 64865) and/or the sealing (order
no. 1594) and the "O"ring (order no. 70789)
a) Proceed as described in paragraph 4 a) to 4 b).
b) Draw out the control piston at the hexagon with
the help of flat tongs and slight turning.
c) Hold the control piston at Ø 12 and remove the
banjo bolt (order no. 64154) with the universal
64154) mittels spanner Ø 14.
Now, the sleeve (order no. 64709) and/or the
sealing (order no. 1594) can be changed.
Warning: Never clamp at the long diameter 10
mm.
d) Hold the control piston at Ø 12 and unscrew the
hexagon socket screw (order no. 73783) with
"O"ring (order no. 70789) with hexagon socket
screw key Ø 4 mm. Replace "O"ring and screw
tightly.
mit 8. Changing of the piston gasket with seal
retainer
a) Proceed as described in paragraph 7 a) to 7 b).
b) Unscrew complete seal retainer (order no. 64857)
with socket wrench Ø 19 mm and mount all
components the other way around. Fix the thread
with Loctite 222. Upon assembling the complete
air piston, rub the sliding surface in the spray gun
body slightly with the special acid-free spray gun
grease (order no. 48173).
9. Changing of the round/oval fan control
Remove flat head screw (order no. 1503) with crosstip
Rändelknopf screwdriver and remove knurled knob (order no. 3657).
Unscrew the complete spindle (order no. 54221) with
universal spanner and replace it by a new one.
10. Cleaning and maintenance
1. When the system is depressurized, detach the gun
from the holder and remove the connections.
2. Flush out the fluid-carrying passage-ways in the
gun.
3. Clean the outside of the gun with a paint brush
and suitable solvent, making sure not to immerse it
in the solvent for a long period. All the components
of the unit are solvent-resistant (PTFE-Teflon), but
immersion in solvent can lead to malfunctioning
when putting back into operation due to the sol-
vent having penetrated the air ducts and pressure
chamber of the control piston.
4. Under no circumstances try to clean clogged dril-
lings in the air cap using an unsuitable tool, since
the slightest amount of damage adversely affects
the spray pattern. Use SATA nozzle cleaning need-
les (64030).
5. If it becomes necessary to conduct a thorough
cleaning of the external and internal components
of the SATAjet 3000 HVLP, follow the instructions
given in the section entitled "Disassembly and
Replacement of Components".
Notice: We recommend having a stock of SATA
repair kits (order no. 67082).
Furthermore, we recommend to use the SATA
spray gun grease (order n° 48173) after the
cleaning.
6. Only remove the black air distribution ring 97824
in the gun head in case it is damaged (no sealing
performance at the paint nozzle). In case of remo-
val, always insert a new air distribution ring to
ensure flawless function.
6. Changement du joint de l'aiguille de pein-
ture (côté air)
a) Démonter la tête du pistolet en enlevant les 4 vis
cylindriques (réf. 74690) à l'aide d'une clé pour vis
à 6 pans creux Ø 4.
b) Dévisser complètement le support de joint (réf.
64071) du bloc de commande (corps du pistolet) à
l'aide d'un tournevis. Installer un nouveau support
de joint, fixer avec la colle spéciale Loctite 222.
c) Remonter la tête du pistolet. Revisser les 4 vis
cylindriques régulièrement en croix.
Attention: Il faut toujours vérifier qu'il n'y a ni
d'endommagements ni d'usures à l'aiguille de
peinture. Si nécessaire remplacer.
7. Changement du manchon du piston (réf.
64865) et/ou du joint (réf. 1594) ainsi que de
l'anneau „ O „ (réf. 70789)
a) Procéder comme décrit sous 4 a) à 4 b)
b) Retenir le piston de commande avec une pince à
becs plats à l'hexagone au corps du pistolet en
tournant légèrement.
c) Tenir le piston de commande au Ø 12 mm et
enlever le boulon creux à filet femelle (réf. 64154) à
l'aide d'une clé à vis universelle Ø 14 mm.
Maintenant, le manchon (réf. 64709) et/ou le joint
(réf. 1594) peuvent être échangés.
Attention: Ne jamais encastrer au long diamètre
10 mm.
d) Tenir le piston de commande au Ø 12 mm et
dévisser la vis à six pans creux (réf. 73783)
avec l'anneau „O„ (réf. 70789) à l'aide d'une clé
mâle coudée Ø 4 mm pour vis à six pans creux.
Remplacer l'anneau „O„ et serrer fermement.
8. Changement de la garniture de piston
avec support du joint d'étanchéité
a) Procéder comme décrit sous 7 a) à 7 b).
b) Dévisser le support du joint d'étanchéité cpl. (réf.
64857) à l'aide d'une clé à pipe Ø 19 mm et mon-
ter tous les parts en sens inverse. Fixer le filet av.
du Loctite 222. En assemblant le piston de com-
mande cpl. frotter la surface de frottement dans le
corps du pistolet avec de la graisse spéciale sans
acide pour pistolets (réf. 48173).
9. Changement du réglage de jet rond/plat
Enlever la vis à tête conique (réf. 1503) avec un tour-
nevis cruciforme et retirer le bouton moleté (réf. 3657).
Dévisser la broche complète (réf. 54221) avec une clé à
vis universel et remplacer par une nouvelle pièce.
10. Nettoyage et entretien
1. Rendre le système sans pression. Démonter le
pistolet de sa fixation et enlever les embranche-
ments.
2. Rincer le pistolet du côté produit.
3. Nettoyer le pistolet à l'extérieur avec un pinceau
et un solvant approprié, ne pas le tremper com-
plètement pour longtemps dans du solvant. Bien
que toutes ses pièces résistent au solvant (PTTFE-
Teflon), il se peut, malgré tout, qu'en plongeant
le pistolet dans du solvant, ce dernier puisse
pénétrer dans les conduites d'air et la chambre de
compression du piston de commande et entraîner
des erreurs de fonctionnement lors de la mise en
marche.
4. Ne jamais nettoyer les alésages encrassés du
chapeau d'air avec des objets impropres, car le
moindre endommagement influence l'image de
projection. Utiliser les aiguilles de nettoyage SATA
(64030)!
5. Si un nettoyage complet des pièces internes et
externes du SATAjet 3000 HVLP s'avère indispen-
sable, il faut procéder suivant le point „Démontage
et Remplacement des pièces".
Remarque: Nous recommandons d'avoir en stock
des kits de réparation SATA (réf. 67082).
De plus, nous recommandons d' utiliser la graisse
SATA pour pistolets (réf. 48173) après le nettoyage.
6. N'enlever l'anneau noir de distribution d'air 97824
au sein de la tête du pistolet qu'en cas de dom-
mage (pas d'étanchéité à la buse de peinture).
En cas d'enlèvement, monter toujours un nouvel
anneau de distribution d'air afin de garantir la
bonne fonction.
