Gearcase Maintenance
Maintenance Interval
The gearcase should be inspect after each 30 hours of
use.
Gearcase Lubrication
The gearcase should be checked for lubrication after
each 30 hours of use. Grease fittings are installed. Use
#2 lithiumbase bearing lubricant.

other moving parts could cause serious

HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
• Always turn off your Edger before you
clean or perform any maintenance on it.
The Maruyama Edger will provide maximum
performance for many, many hours if it is maintained
properly. Good maintenance includes regular checking
of all fasteners for correct tightness, and cleaning the
entire machine.
