4.2 Communication interfaces

4.2.1 Bluetooth interface
After the start sequence, the Bluetooth
activated.
If no connection is established, the gas detector disables the interface after 10
minutes (factory setting).
If the connection is to be secured with a pairing PIN, an additional pairing can
be carried out and an individual pairing PIN assigned. The factory setting is the
connection without PIN.
For safety-related applications, an individual pairing PIN must be assigned.
4.2.2 Activating the Bluetooth

4.2.3 Performing Bluetooth

The first time a Bluetooth
between the gas detector and the Windows
exchange characteristic data, meaning that they automatically recognize each
other the next time they are connected.
Prerequisite:

– Bluetooth interface on the gas detector and on the Windows
is activated.

– Bluetooth pairing is activated (with PolySoft).

● If the Bluetooth pairing PIN "000000" is used, Bluetooth
automatic.
If an individual Bluetooth
appears for entering the PIN.
✓ After successful connection, the blue LED lights up continuously.
Gas detector and Windows
If required, use PolySoft to assign an individual Bluetooth

device.

Entering a PIN is not necessary.
