Adjust the calliper symmetry, balancing the return springs of the right and left callipers.

A system consisting of a nut and a locking nut allows you to adjust the cable tension and
therefore the braking power, which will vary with time as the brake pads wear down.

Changing brake pads

V-brake
Unscrew the pads using a 5 mm hex key.
Place the new pads on the calliper in the right direction.
Tighten the pads, using the same setting, see previous chapter IV.1.
