FIRST USE / ADJUSTMENTS

I.

Positioning of the safety elements

1.

Lighting

Lighting is provided with the bicycle, consisting of two reflectors (one white included in the front light
and one red in the rear mudguard), one headlight, one tail light and two other orange reflectors
positioned between the spokes of the wheels. The presence of reflective tires enables you to be better
seen side-on.
The lighting system is an obligatory safety feature of your bicycle, as such it must be present. Check that
your lighting system works before riding.
If necessary, you can change the bulb or the batteries of your lighting.
The used batteries contain metals that are harmful for the environment. They can be deposited in our
shops for an appropriate treatment, do not throw them away with the household waste or outdoors.
Batteries should be collected separately.
Headlight with external battery
Remove the top transparent portion of the headlight by pressing on the notch located behind the case.
Once removed, you can remove both button batteries (CR2032) and replace them with the correct
polarity. Replace the transparent part. Turn the headlight on / off by moving the small switch on the top
of the lamp.
Tail light with external battery
Remove the transparent part with a screwdriver. Once removed, you can remove both batteries (LR 6
AAA) and replace them with the correct polarity. Replace the transparent part. You turn the tail light on
and off by moving the small switch on the back of the lamp.
2.

Bell

A bell is situated on your handlebars. It can be heard in a range of 50 m.
The bell is an obligatory safety feature of your bicycle, as such it must be present on your handlebars.
3.

Wearing a helmet

For a safe use, wearing a bicycle helmet is strongly recommended. It reduces the risk of skull injuries in
the case of falls.
WARNING: Wearing a helmet is obligatory for children under 14 years old, whether they
are riders or passengers.
