8.3. Tighten the jam nut against the track adjuster to
prevent the adjustment bolt from loosening up.
8.4. Tighten the
3/8" nc X 3"
which connects the track adjuster and the
plastic structure, and torque to 35 ft-lbs.

4.2. Sprocket and Main Axle Replacement
The following steps refer to one sprocket and main axle.
However, all four sprockets and main axles follow the
same procedure for installation and removal.
1. Raise the ATV off the ground.
WARNING
When the ATV is raised, make sure that it is properly
secured/supported to prevent it from accidentally
falling during the installation of the tracks. If not
properly secured/supported, serious physical injury
could occur.

2. Remove the track following the procedure in
section 4.1. - Track replacement.
3. Unscrew the bolt and nut connecting the plastic
structure and the anti-rotation assembly.

4. Remove the bearing cap using a flat screwdriver,
taking care not to damage the cap.
5. Unscrew the three
1/4" nc X 1/2"
tip of the main axle and remove the lock washer.
6. Pull on the assembled structure as straight as
possible to remove from the main axle.
7. Unscrew the four
nuts and the four
3/8" nc
bolts holding the sprocket to the main axle. Save all
the flat washers for later assembly.
NOTE : Remove the main axle from the hub of the ATV .
Replace any deformed washer.
