WINTER ATV "PROSPECTOR" TRACK KIT

2.2. Rear Tracks Installation
(see Figure 5 - Table 3 (page 12) for the rear sub-
table exploded view and the parts list)
1. Raise the rear of the ATV off the ground and remove
the rear wheels.
WARNING
When the ATV is raised, make sure that it is properly
secured/supported to prevent it from accidentally
falling during the installation of the tracks. If not
properly secured/supported, serious physical injury
could occur.
2. Remove the rear CV shields. DO NOT DISCARD!
They will be reinstalled later.
3. Install the rear sub-table and the antirotation on rear
suspension A-arms as specified on sub-table's
instruction sheets (sold separately).
4. Install the rear pre-assembled Track Kit (#7) on the
ATV hub, in the same place where the wheel had
been installed. Use the
supplied with this kit, and torque to 35 ft-lbs.
5. Attach the other end of the rear anti-rotation
assembly to the Track Kit :
5.1. Insert the
3/8" nc X 4" (grade 5)
3/8" I.D. X 1-1/4" O.D. X .12"
5.2. Install the
3/8" nc X 4" (grade 5)
hole in the plastic structure of the Track Kit
(insert from outside of the ATV).
5.3. Install the
3/8" I.D. X 1-1/4" O.D. X .12"
washer (#23) onto the bolt (#9) inserted in the
previous step.
5.4. Install the tightening spacer (#1) into the hole
at the end of the anti-rotation tube (#3) and
slide them over the bolt (#9).
WARNING
The washer and the spacer are very important; they
prevent the nut to loose.

5.5. Install the
flat washer (#20) onto the bolt
3/8" dia
(#9).
5.6. Screw the
nylock nut (#17) onto the bolt
3/8" nc
(#9). Torque to 25 lb-pi.

6. Repeat steps 1 to 5 for the other side and refer to the
section 3 for various adjustments.
