WINTER ATV "PROSPECTOR" TRACK KIT

SECTION 2 : TRACK KIT INSTALLATION
WARNING
Prior to installation of the Track Kit, turn off the
engine, put in two-wheel driving mode, and block
the rear wheels.
2.1. Front Tracks Installation
(see Figure 4 - Table 2 (page 11) for the front sub-
table exploded view and the parts list)
1. Raise the front of the ATV off the ground and
remove the front wheels.
WARNING
When the ATV is raised, make sure that it is properly
secured/supported to prevent it from accidentally
falling during the installation of the tracks. If not
properly secured/supported, serious physical injury
could occur.
2. Remove the front CV shields. DO NOT DISCARD!
They will be reinstalled later.
3. Install the front sub-table and the antirotation on
front suspension A-arms as specified on sub-table's
instruction sheets (sold separately).
4. Install the front pre-assembled Track Kit (#7) on the
ATV hub, in the same place where the wheel had
been installed. Use the
supplied with this kit, and torque to 35 ft-lbs.
NOTE : Recheck torque after one hour of use.

Do not inverse the right and left sides.

5. Assemble the anti-rotation on the Track Kit
following these steps :
5.1. Take the
3/8" nc X 4" (grade 5)
a
3/8" I.D. X 1-1/4" O.D. X 0.12"
(#16) onto the bolt.
5.2. Insert the bolt (#17) with the washer (#16) into
the intended hole in the plastic structure of the
Track Kit (#7)from the outside of the ATV .
5.3. Once the bolt is fully inserted, place the second
3/8" I.D. X 1-1/4" O.D. X 0.12"
onto the bolt (#17) and apply against the
interior surface of the plastic structure.
5.4. Install the anti-rotation assembly (#6) onto the
bolt (#17). The flat side should be towards the
plastic structure, against the Fender washer
(#16) inserted in the previous step.
5.5. Install the tightening spacer (#15) and the
flat washer (#14) onto the bolt (#17).

5.6. Tighten the assembly with a
(#12). Torque to 25 ft-lbs.

6. Repeat steps 1 to 5 for the other side and refer to the
section 3 for various adjustments.
