01_GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

Before using your FUORIPISTA, carefully
read the warnings listed below for your
health and safety.
1. The appliance is not to be used by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction.
2. Children being supervised not to play
with the appliance.
3. Before beginning a training programme,
undergo a physical examination certifying
good health.
4. Choose a training level compatible with
your physical endurance and the status of
your health.
5. If you feel particularly fatigued or
sore while exercising, stop using the
FUORIPISTA immediately and consult your
doctor.
6. Use only the supplied charger (mod.
6A-181WP12).
The FUORIPISTA compliance with EU laws
(see "Declaration of conformity", page 49)
may be voided if a charger different from
the original is used.
The above warnings are general and not
exhaustive of all the precautions that
should be taken for the proper and safe
use of FUORIPISTA; which is solely the
responsibility of the user.

02_WARNING

- The glass flywheel may become warm during use and
cause burns if you touch it.

- If you place FUORIPISTA on a carpet please make sure
that the glass flywheel is not too close to it.
- Do not tamper with the flywheel when it's moving.
- It takes a few seconds for the emergency brake to stop
the flywheel.
- Avoid any risk of involuntary accidental contact with
potentially dangerous objects (furniture, tables, chairs etc)
by placing FUORIPISTA in a suitable environment, not too
close to said objects.
WARNING: handle with care as Fuoripista is quite heavy (70
kg) and delicate (glass legs); please get at least one other
person to help you during this phase.
- FUORIPISTA has been designed to be used by a single
cyclist weighing no more than 110kg.
- Elite shall not be liable for any malfunction with other
software / apps / devices.
- Interferences may be caused by the presence within
range of high voltage power lines, traffic lights, railway
power lines, bus or tram power lines, tv sets, cars, cycle
computers, gym equipment, mobile phones or the crossing
o f security gates. Therefore, using other wireless receivers
might alter or totally suppress FUORIPISTA operations
because of said interferences.
- Do not expose FUORIPISTA to direct sunlight for long
periods of time when not in use.
- Do not store FUORIPISTA in damp or wet places. This
might damage its electronic components.
- Use exclusively with the supplied power supply.
- Use exclusively with the supplied battery, please contact
Elite should the battery malfunction.
