01_GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

Before using your trainer, carefully read
the warnings listed below for your health
and safety.
1. The appliance is not to be used by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction.
2. Children being supervised not to play
with the appliance.
3. Before beginning a training programme,
undergo a physical examination certifying
good health.
4. Choose a training level compatible with
your physical endurance and the status of
your health.
5. If you feel particularly fatigued or sore
while exercising, stop using the trainer
immediately and consult your doctor.
6. Use only the supplied charger (mod.
6A-181WP12).
The Nero compliance with EU laws (see
"Declaration of conformity", page 92) may
be voided if a charger different from the
original is used.
WARNING
Observe the correct position of your hands
while folding up the home trainer to avoid
crushing them while closing it.
The above warnings are general and not
exhaustive of all the precautions that

02_INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Nero is an interactive home trainer for indoor training
sessions and tests to be interfaced with a personal
computer (Mac and Windows) and apps for mobile devices
such as smartphones or tablets (Android and iOS) or to a
cycle computer with ANT+™ or Bluetooth Smart
connectivity.
The integrated "ANT+" and "Bluetooth Smart" protocols
interact wirelessly with PCs and mobile devices, with no
additional components necessary for Nero compatibility
with most devices.
Nero supports ANT+ FE-C, an interactive protocol
developed for hometrainers to read speed and cadence
data and to adjust resistance. Other protocols allow only
one-way data transfer and no interaction with the
hometrainer.
Moreover, the ANT+ FE-C protocol is "open" - it allows the
hometrainer to run all the software that supports it, so you
can freely choose the software to use with the Nero.
Nero is compatible with most apps/software, including but
not limited to: Zwift, TrainerRoad, The Sufferfest, some
Garmin Edge, Road Grand Tours, VirtuGo, and many more).
My E-Training is one of the apps/software that Nero works
best with. This Windows, Mac, iOS and Android app/
software developed by Elite is fully compatible with Nero
and offers many different training solutions for the user.
You can create training sessions based on power or slope,
video races, Google-maps based courses and also import
GPS data of a real outdoor race, conduct evaluation tests
and much more.
The roller is a training tool enabling users to get into top
shape for cycling.
The high quality bearings reduce noise and wear and
ensure a long product life.
The frame of the Nero is very practical, light, manageable,
easy to use and takes up little space.
Frame can be folded for easier storage or carrying.
It is recommended for users of all levels.

03_DATA TRANSMISSION PROTOCOLS

Nero uses two different transmission protocols to interact
and send data to software / app / device.
