iNsTallaTiON

4.1 Tools and requirements
You need the following tools and requirements to install the
unit:
- lifting device, e.g. a fork-lift truck or crane
- lifting gear
- caulking gun
- basic tools
4.1.1 To be sourced locally
The following material must be arranged locally:
- supply cable between filter unit and fan (5 x 4 mm
- flexible hose Ø 100 mm (2) for connection of the SparkTrap
- extraction duct Ø 100 mm
- duct connection material
4.2 Unpacking
The package contains:
- filter housing incl. frame, control panel and dustbin
- fan incl. housing
- bolt M8 (9)
- silencer
- reducer Ø 200-100 mm
- elbow 90° / Ø 100 mm
- pipe Ø 200 x 50 mm
- quick connect coupling (3)
- air outlet
- SparkTrap
- key to lock/unlock the control panel
- polymer adhesive
4.3 Positioning
The filter housing contains forklift pockets for lifting purposes.
This allows you to transport the unit to its final position after
installation of the fan.
4.4 installation
To install the fan on the filter housing, proceed as follows.

• Disassemble the top panel (A) and the side panels (B) of
the fan housing.
• Lift the fan by its two eye bolts (C) and put it on the filter
housing (D).
• Attach the fan housing to the filter housing with the 9 bolts
M8.
• Remove the transportation safety brackets (E).
• Assemble the top panel and the side panels of the fan
housing after commissioning.

4.4.1
The reducer Ø 200-100 mm is used for connection of the
extraction duct. Depending on the layout of the system and
the position of the filter unit, it can be installed on the left or
right side of the unit.

• If necessary: change the position of the blind cover (A) on
the air inlet.
• Install the reducer (B). Fasten it with a quick connect
coupling.
• Install the elbow 90° / Ø 100 mm (C) to the air inlet.
Fasten it with a quick connect coupling.

• Put the upper part (A) of the air outlet on the lower part
(B). Fasten it with self-tapping screws.
• Slide the air outlet into the duct silencer (C).

disassembled until pressure relief valve is installed
(ref. to section 4.10.1)
