8 MAINTENANCE AND
CLEANING
8.1 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Before performing any maintenance operations,
adopt the following precautions:

Make sure that all the parts of the stove have
cooled down.

Make sure that the ash is completely
extinguished.

Use the personal protective equipment

Make sure that the main power switch is off.

Make sure that the power supply cannot be
reconnected accidentally. Unplug the cord from
the socket on the wall.

Always use suitable tools for maintenance.

Once maintenance or repairs have been
completed, before operating the stove again,
restore all protection features and reactivate
all safety devices.

A suitable ash vacuum cleaner (canister)
makes it simpler to clean the ash.
8.2 STOVE CLEANING FUNCTION
8.2.1 Door opening (where available)
To open the door, use lever 1 as shown in Fig. 8.2.1.

The stove requires a simple but frequent and
thorough clean to guarantee it will work properly

Clean only when the stove is cold.
To guarantee adequate cleaning, use the
"CLEANING STOVE" function, see paragraph 7.9.
This function cleans the stove while preventing ash
from spreading in the room.
