1. Funktionsbeschreibung
Der Luftentfeuchter CD1100/1800 arbeitet nach dem
Kondensationsprinzip. Mittels Ventilator wird die zu
entfeuchtende Luft über einen Filter angesaugt und
ihr im dahinterliegenden Verdampfer Wärme
entzogen. Durch die Abkühlung unter den Taupunkt
kondensiert der in der Luft enthaltene Wasserdampf
auf den Verdampferlamellen zu Wassertropfen. Diese
werden in der Kondensatschale aufgefangen und in
den Wassersammelbehälter oder zu einem Abfluss
abgeleitet. Der kalten Luft wird beim Durchströmen
des Kondensators die vorher entzogene Wärme
wieder zugeführt. Auf Grund der freiwerdenden Ver-
dampfungswärme und der in Wärme umgewandelten
Antriebsarbeit des Kompressors und Ventilators, wird
der Luft mehr Energie zugeführt als ihr vorher entzogen
wurde. Diese Wärmezufuhr entspricht ungefähr einer
Temperaturerhöhung von 5°C. Durch die ständige
Zirkulation der Raumluft durch das Gerät wird die
absolute Feuchtigkeit der Luft nach und nach gesenkt,
wodurch ein sehr schnelles und schonendes
Austrocknen erreicht wird.
2. Gerätetransport
Es ist wichtig, das Gerät immer stehend zu
transportieren. Bei einem liegenden Transport kann
der Kompressor Schaden nehmen, bzw. Schmiermittel
des Kompressors in den Kältekreislauf gelangen.

1. Method of operation
The dehumidifier type CD1100/1800 works in
accordance with the condensation principle. The air
to be dehumidified is taken in through a filter and the
heat is removed by an evaporator situated behind
this. By cooling the air below the dew point the water
vapour condenses on the evaporator pipes to droplets.
These droplets fall onto a condensate tray and finally
into a water container or to a drain. The heat previously
removed from the air is returned to the cold dry air as
it passes through the condenser. More heat is returned
to the air than was previously extracted as a result of
the latent heat and the energy of the compressor
being turned into heat energy. This extra heat
corresponds to an approximate increase in tempera-
ture of 5°C. The continuous air circulation through the
unit reduces the relative humidity giving rapid but
gentle drying.
2. Transport of the unit
It is important that the dehumidifier is always
transported in a vertical position. If the unit is laid down
during transport, the compressor may be damaged,
or oil from the compressor may get into the cooling
circuit.
