Description of the system
The water is flowing from the aquarium via an overflow chamber or another overflow device into
the prefilter filled with activated carbon, phosphate or other absorbent filter materials. If there is a
blockage or the flow rate is too high, excessive water flows laterally through an overflow. The
skimmer's venturi pump sucks the water in out of a chamber with a constant water level. From the
clear chamber, the water is sucked in by the circulation pump and pumped back into the aquarium.

Components of the filter system
The cabinet filter system is placed in a separate glass tank with two sliding doors.
Dimensions: 75,5 x 47,5 x 62 cm (l x w x h).
The filter system Reef Station is equipped with holders for the UV sterilizer Helix Max 18 W and the
top up unit Niveaumat so that they can easily be refitted.
