Wind direction
The wind direction is understand to be the
direction from where the wind is blowing. This
means that northely wind is blowing from the
North towards the South. The wind direction is
indicated in 8 compass points namely the 4
main compass points and the 4 intermediate
compass points. The abbreviations on the
instrument are based on the English language.
