12 EnOcean/KNX plug-in modules
12.1 EnOcean components
Install plug-in module in accordance with the accessory in-
structions.
12.2 KNX components
The installer level cannot be selected via KNX. Use the
commissioning software, the AIR@home APP or the
AIR@home web tool for this.

13 Optional accessories
13.1 Room air controls
RLS T1 SYS (item no. 0157.1643): Touchscreen control
panel for ventilation units with air@home control. Graphic,
high-resolution colour TFT display with easy-to-use, intuit-
ive menu navigation.
• For operation and configuration of various time pro-
grams, operating modes, ventilation levels, automatic
night cooling, flush mode etc. as well as to display status
information and alarm messages.
• Multiple-unit compatibility: up to 10 different
geniovent.x units with air@home control can be con-
trolled.
• Can be updated using a micro SD card.
• Preset language: German

Only one RLS T1 SYS or one RLS G1 WS can be
connected! Two control panels cannot be run in
parallel.

13.2 Electric preheating register
Available as an accessory for the (E) variants with enthalpy
heat exchanger. (G) variants with cross-counterflow heat
exchanger are fitted with an electric preheating register as
standard. This prevents the heat exchanger from icing over
at outside temperatures below 0 °C.*
13.3 Electric supplementary heat register
Used for supplementary heating of the supply air.*
13.4 External CO2 sensor
Additional sensor to register the external CO2 concentra-
tion in the air. An internal CO2 sensor is installed in all
units as standard. It is installed outside the ventilation unit.
Depending on the CO2 concentration, the ventilation unit
adapts the volumes of air to suit demand. If the CO2 con-
centration in the air improves, the speed of the ventilation
unit fans decreases. If the CO2 concentration deteriorates,
the speed of the ventilation unit fans increases.
13.5 External VOC sensor
Additional sensor to register the external air quality. An in-
ternal CO2 sensor is installed in all units as standard. It is
installed outside the ventilation unit. Depending on the air
quality, the ventilation unit adapts the volumes of air to
suit demand. If the air quality improves, the speed of the
ventilation unit fans decreases. If the air quality deterior-
ates, the speed of the ventilation unit fans increases.
13.6 Motion sensor (PIR)
When operating with a motion sensor, the unit must be
switched on. This activates the ventilation unit fans if there
are people in the room. If the `Manual´ operating mode is
selected, the unit runs in manual mode after movement is
registered. If the `Auto/time´ operating mode is selected,
the unit runs in sensor mode after movement is registered
(demand-controlled). The overrun time can be adjusted
(5...12...120 min).
13.7 Smoke gas switch
A smoke gas switch is a safety device for the early detec-
tion of the presence of smoke and for preventing it from
spreading within residential units through the ventilation
system. If required, the smoke gas switch switches off the
fans in the ventilation unit. Also observe the fire preven-
tion requirements.*
* If items marked with an * are ordered at the
same time, they are fitted in the unit in the factory
and arrive ready for use.
