1. Excessive pressure against the
sanding drum.
2. The drum sander is held too
long in one place.
3. Sanding grit is too fine.
1. Low voltage due to
insufficiently powered circuit.
2. Wrong gauge extension cord.
1. Reduce pressure on workpiece
while sanding.
2. Move the drum sander more
often along the workpiece.
3. Change to a coarser grit.
1. Attach to power circuit with
adequate amperage.
2. Replace with a thicker gauge
extension cord.
