ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
D-HANDLE ASSEMBLY
1. Position the D-handle so the bolt holes align with the mounting holes
on the tool's body on either side (see Identification Key). Make sure the
handle curves toward the safety guard.
2. Insert the short screw into the handle on the gear box side and tighten
until hand-tight.
3. Insert the longer screw into the longer handle arm and tighten until
hand-tight.
INSTALL THE DRUM
WARNING! Unplug the drum sander from the power supply before
making any adjustments involving the sanding drum to avoid a serious
injury or amputation.
1. Insert the hex wrench into the fastening screw on the side of the drum.
2. Insert the wrench onto the shaft's flats near the gearbox to hold the shaft
in place.
