BBD 12D, 12DS, 12DCS
1. Push the retainer outwards in the direction of the
arrow until the drill steel collar disengages from
the front of the retainer.
2. Pull the drill steel out.
3. Push back the retainer.
Fitting the drill steel
Whenever fitting the drill steel the following
instructions must be observed:

Safety and operating instructions
1. Remove the cap.
2. Insert the sleeve (A), drill steel (B), stop ring (C)
and the buffer (D) in the chuck.

3. Screw the cap back on.
Removing the drill steel
Whenever removing the drill steel the following
instructions must be observed:
1. Remove the cap, the buffer and the stop ring.
2. Remove the drill steel and the sleeve.
3. Screw the cap back on.
