Disassembly
1- disconnect the cables from the tool
2- disassembling the output shaft
• lay the machine horizontally on a table
• remove the retainer pin from the output shaft
• be careful of the spring reaction
3- disassembling the motor
• place a special wrench of 56mm across flats in a vice
• the machine should imperatively be placed in the special wrench on
the flats which are closest to the motor
• untighten the motor with a special 56mm wrench - left-hand thread
• heat the casing with a torch if necessary
• remove the coupling sleeve and the drive pinion
4- disassembling the 1st reduction gear stage
• position the angle head casing in a vice
• untighten the casing (30) using a special wrench of 56mm across
• flats before extracting the planet cage and the 1st stage washer
• extract the planet cage and the 2 washers
• extract planet wheels, pins and needle bearings from the planet cage
5- disassembling the angle head
• position the angle head casing in a vice, with the angle head outlet
turned upwards
Complete reassembly
Reassembly does not pose any problem in particular.
It is important to follow all the indications which are provided, in the form of pictograms, on the drawing opposite.

TECHNICAL MANUAL
Special wrench
• untighten the casing assembly (9) that is still assembled with the gear
ring (2) using tools 961.059 and 960.915
• position tools 961.059 and 960.915 in a vice
• place the casing / gear ring assembly on the tools
• heat the gear ring with a torch
• using the pin wrench, separate the casing (9) from the gear ring (2)
• be careful with the tapered ring (10) which is mated with pinions (12)
and (19)
• extract the output gear assembly
• remove the nut (13) and the washer (14)
• extract the output gear (18), the shaft (22) and the bearing (17)
• to extract the driving pinion (19), use tools 961.037 and 961.060
• untighten the nut (26), press the bearing (25) out, remove spacers (23)
and (24), as well as the needle socket (21).
6- disassembling the 3rd and 4th reduction gear stage
• position the angle head casing in a vice
• after heating it with a torch, untighten the nut (6) with the special
wrench of 72mm across flats
• extract the angle head with the gear ring (2) and the casing (9)
• remove the 3rd and 4th stage planet cages
• extract planet wheels, pins and needle bearings from the planet cages
