Powering on/off
● Swich on the GFI blue interruptor.
● On the front panel, press the on/off
switch to power the controller on.
● On the front panel, press the on/off
switch to power the controller off.

PC connection
● Plug the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port
of the controller front panel.
● Check the computer is in DHCP mode.

E-STOP
E-STOP stands for "Emergency stop".
When the E-STOP button is pushed, the tool
stops immediately and the info code "E918" is
displayed on the controller screen.
Two conditions are required to release the tool:
- the tool must receive a "RESET" signal
from the PLC (min. duration: 10 ms)
- the E-STOP button must be pressed again.
The message will then disappear from the screen
and the tool will be ready to use again.
The E-STOP signal is also available
on the I/O 24V, the Fieldbus and the
eBUS.

● Plug the terminal plug when the
connector is not used.
● Always use the cables supplied with the
controller.
● Refer to the diagrams showing how to wire the
E-STOP on the different types of controllers or
systems.

Fieldbus module
When the fieldbus module is not into its
location, the cover must remain in place.
OPERATING MODE
Make sure that the tool is in perfect
working order and the controller is
programmed correctly, to reduce the
risk of injury to the operator as a result
of unexpected behaviour of the tool.
● Once a month, push the GFI yellow
pushbutton to check that the detection of
leakage current is functioning properly. Swich
on the GFI blue interruptor to restart the
controller.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
● If needed, clean the external panels of the
controller by using a dry cloth.
Maintenance should be performed by qualified
personnel only.
Danger
Risk of electric shock.
● Disconnect from power supply and
wait 10 minutes before commencing
service operations.
Failure to wait 10 minutes may result
in electric shock from undischarged
capacitors.
● Prior to any maintenance task, do as follows:
- powering the controller off
- disconnecting the power cord cable
- disconnecting the tool cable.
Assembly and disassembly
● Follow standard engineering practices and
refer to figures/exploded view for the mounting
of component subassemblies.
