R3707 Models - Rough-in Install
• When installing rough-in, ensure to leave enough space below deck for hose
return.
• Remove handle alignment tool (8) from cardboard box insert.
• Ensure cartridge is fully turned counter-clockwise to the "closed" position.
• Silicone can be used under flange (1) if deck is uneven.
1. Install the flange (1) and foam gasket (2) onto handle body (3). Ensure that the
flange (1) is fully threaded onto the handle body (3) and flush (A).
This is to ensure the handle set screw (B) head will be in full contact with
the flat on the cartridge stem.
2. Install alignment tool (8) onto the stem of the cartridge (9). Align the handle body
(3) so that the flat edge of the alignment tool (8) is parallel to the tub edge (10).
The alignment tool simulates the position of the handle after installation.
3. Tighten handle body nut (4) from below deck. Verify handle alignment tool is still
acceptable.
4. Install top washer (5) onto centre body (6) and rotate the washer (5) 90°
clockwise.
Top washer (5) to be placed on finished surface.
5. Tighten the jack screws (7) to secure the center body (6) to the deck.
Jack screws (7) must be tightened evenly to prevent interference with
the top washer (5).

3. Connect the 2 elbows (15) with 1/2" (12.7 mm) copper tubing (18) cut to fit
(not supplied).
4. Solder all connections.
PEX crimp, R3707-PX model
1. Connect PEX water lines (19) to inlet tubes (11). Connect handle body (16) to
centre body (17) using the elbow (20) and PEX tubing (21) (not supplied).
• PEX tubing (21) must be 12" long minimum.
• Use the proper ASTM F1807 copper crimp rings (using PEX crimp tool) and
approved PEX tubing and fittings.
PEX cold expansion, R3707-MF model
1. Install spacers (22) onto MF fittings.
2. Connect PEX water lines (23) (not supplied) to inlet tubes (11).
3. Connect handle body (16) to centre body (17) using the elbow (24) and PEX
tubing (25) (not supplied).
• PEX tubing (25) must be 12" long minimum.
• Use the proper ASTM F1960 cold expansion fittings (using PEX cold
