Safety repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer or a person appointed by him.
4.5 Cleaning
Wash the entire fall arrester with water and dry it using an absorbent cloth. Do not use heat
sources for drying.
Do not wash it with a quick cleaner, thinner or degreaser containing trichloroethane.
Do not use grease.
The wheels (Fig. 9 / Pos. 3.0) have plain bearings and have been lubricated in the factory.
Slightly lubricate the swivel shackle (Fig. 9 / Pos. 5.0) and the carabiner gate (Fig. 9 / Pos.
6.1) if required.
Attention!
Do not bring the fall arrester in contact with chemicals.
4.6 Operating lifetime
The operating lifetime of the fall arrester depends on the frequency of use and the operating
conditions. During yearly inspection carried out by an authorised person or body the fall
arrester will be only released for further use if the product and its components are in good
condition.
4.7 Safe product disposal
Disposal of PPE against fall from height after end of lifetime should be done according to
local regulation on waste handling. It is prohibited to dispose used PPE against fall from
height together with general household waste.
By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help protect the environment.

authority, your household/industrial waste disposal service provider or the shop where you
purchased the product.
